The impact of the programs and services of the American Academy of Dermatology is felt by the child with a chronic skin condition attending Camp Discovery, the man or woman teaching sun safety using free AAD resources, the kids who play outside beneath an AAD shade structure – the hundreds of thousands of people whose lives are touched by these vital initiatives. Help send a child to Camp Discovery. Camp Discovery offers children with chronic skin conditions a unique summer camp experience, complete with medical care, and it’s free for them to attend.
Apply for a shade structure grant and bring shade to your community. These grants fund permanent shade structures at schools, parks, and other non-profit organizations where children learn and play.
Join a hike in your area or donate to an upcoming hike to help raise awareness and funds for skin cancer prevention and detection initiatives in your community.
Make a donation and help ensure the Academy’s programs and services continue to improve the lives of patients, educate the public, and advance the specialty.
