Year-round member resources
Dialogues in Dermatology podcast episodes | The Dialogues in Dermatology podcast subscription is AAD members’ resource to keep up with the latest in dermatology. Bonus Dialogues episodes are not accredited and are free, subscription not necessary. One bonus episode (free, not accredited) will be approximately 20 minutes in duration and has an average of 2,792 total downloads per episode. Once the Dialogues Editor-in-Chief approves the sponsor’s topic, the AAD retains editorial control of the content of the episode. Recognition may include sponsor input on topic (not content or speakers), voice-over acknowledgement at the beginning and conclusion of the episode, and written acknowledgement on the episode description listed in all eligible podcast players. | To include in your partner package or apply to sponsor a series of bonus episodes. | Available |
DermWorld Insights & Inquiries | Member feedback indicates an ongoing need for new research findings to apply in their practices. DermWorld Insights & Inquiries offers members a weekly commentary from an expert dermatologist about the practical implications of recent research around a condition or therapy. After just two years in existence, readers rate it the third most popular DermWorld column. Over 12 months, the Insights & Inquiries section of AAD.org has attracted more than 400,000 pageviews. Recognition may include logo recognition on the DermWorld Insights & Inquiries pages of AAD.org (a new one added every week). Each week’s DermWorld Insights & Inquiries is shared as the second story in DermWorld Weekly and on the AAD’s social media channels; most are also shared in Dermatology Daily. All channels direct AAD members to Insights & Inquiries posted on AAD.org where sponsors are recognized. | Multiple supporters, starting at $25,000. | Available |
Practice Management Center | Physicians are facing a changing health care system and the Academy’s Practice Management Center (PMC) assists dermatologists and the specialty in navigating the ever-changing landscape. The online resource center offers a mix of easy-to-use, comprehensive, and dermatology-specific services and solutions designed to help dermatologists and their practices thrive. The PMC consolidated an array of Academy services/products for members covering topics from Prior Authorization Assistance to Health Technology (EHR, Telemedicine) to COVID-19 Resources, and much more. PMC had 808,905 unique pageviews on the member-only section of AAD.org in 2020 and use continues to increase. The Academy will continue to raise awareness of the PMC through direct marketing to practice administrators and managers.
