Thursday, July 21
Future of Dermatology
New/novel drugs, devices, and techniques.

Branding & the Business of Dermatology
Leadership with guest speaker Libby Gill, customer service with guest speaker Robert Spector,
product development, and marketing.
Derm Labs
Our popular hands-on sessions will include dermal fillers, nail surgery, wound closures, sutures, and scar revision.
Practice Management
Coding challenges, denials, claims process, managing staff.
Keynote & Welcome Reception
The day will close out with an energizing keynote lecture delivered by Jamie Metzl. Then we invite you to join us for a welcome reception where you can explore the exhibit hall and enjoy delicious food and refreshments.

Parallel sessions covering the latest and greatest in a single topic area. We’ve taken attendee feedback and pared down the number of sessions offered at once, so you can easily go to what’s important and relevant to you, without feeling like you’re missing out.
Derm Tank (Friday, July 22)
A fun, engaging session where presenters pitch their product or procedure to a panel of judges for a chance to win $10,000. We'll be offering snacks and drinks too, so make yourself "at-home" as you enjoy the dermatology version of Shark Tank.

Submit a story for DermTales to then share on-stage!
DermTales is the AAD’s take on the popular live story telling events, StorySLAM. During these events, storytellers (slammers) have 5 minutes each to tell a story, based on a theme chosen for the event.
For the 2022 AAD Innovation Academy, we invite our storytellers to submit a story about an innovation they implemented that had an impact on how they practice dermatology.
Submission deadline is June 15.
