2022 Innovation Academy: Health and safety travel resources
Use ArriveCAN to enter Canada
All non-essential travelers must be fully vaccinated to enter Canada. Proof of vaccine is collected via the ArriveCAN app, which is required for all those entering Canada.
All travelers must use ArriveCAN to provide mandatory travel information before entry into Canada. This must be done within 72 hours of anticipated arrival. Failure to do so may result in denied boarding, denied entry to Canada, and financial penalties.
The mobile app, available for iOS, Android, and web, is free and available in English, French and Spanish.
Download the latest version of ArriveCAN.
Test before returning to the U.S.
Innovation Academy attendees traveling back to the U.S. are required to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 viral test (no more than 1 day before re-entry) OR documentation of recovery accompanied by a letter from a licensed health care provider (no more than 90 days before re-entry). Additional guidance on how to obtain the necessary tests will be available soon.
